Heliskiing and Catskiing in Canada

Find the
best snow in Canada

Canada, the Heliski capital of the world !

This is where the story started more than 50 years ago (see our article on the  » history of heliskiing » in the Interview and Information section).

From first timer to experience heliskier alike, Canada has something in store for you. It starts with huge snowfall of low density powder snow, a perfect mix of alpine and fantastic tree skiing (We believe canadians planted the trees to make sure the distance between them is perfect for skiing !!!). One of the big advantage of British Columbia is reliability. It snows regularly and with tree skiing, you keep skiing on most bad weather days.

British Columbia heliskiing can be divided into two areas, the coast and the interior. The coast tends to get more snow and a milder climate. As you move East, it gets colder and the snow becomes lighter. The snowpack on the coast can therefore be more stable allowing to ski steeper terrain. But all these is very theoritical and conditions as you know will change from week to week.
