Alaska is obviously part of the US but when it comes to heliskiing, every skier who has been there will agree that it is a place on its own. A very special experience that you will never forget.

When we think about Oceania, the first images that come to mind are the sandy beaches of the Fidji islands or the great bareer reef of Astralia. But there is some heli-skiing to be found in the south island of New Zealand in the area of Queenstown / Wanaka.

I remember my first trip there. I was having a coffee on Bondi beach near Sydney, and I read in the local newspaper that there was a storm and a lot of snow to expect in the next few days in NZ.
I called a NZ guide that I know in Canada, got some local contacts and tips and headed to Wanaka.
